Emergencies
If you have severe chest pain, and feel that you are in danger of collapsing, please call 999 directly. Emergency Out of Hours – 0300 123 3211.

Test Results
We will normally contact you directly if you need to see a doctor to get the results of any tests. Alternatively you may have been told to book a follow-up appointment. If you do need to find out the result directly, and would like to save an appointment for another patient to use, please ring between 15:00 and 18:00.

Home Visits
Please telephone requests before 10:30 am if possible. This will enable the doctors to plan their house visits and avoid delays. DO THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS FACILITY as it uses a lot more of the doctor’s time.

BREAKING NEWS

This notice is to inform you all that Dr. Yorke will be leaving her position as a partner at Cornhill Surgery. After 18 years of dedicated service, she has decided to retire at the end of August.Dr. Yorke has been an integral part of our team, providing exceptional medical care and guidance to our patients. Her commitment to excellence and compassionate approach has made a significant impact on the lives of those she has treated.We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for Dr. Yorke's invaluable contributions to Cornhill Surgery. She has been a source of inspiration to many and her absence will surely be felt. We wish her all the best in this new chapter of her life and hope that she enjoys a well-deserved and fulfilling retirement. She will still work occasionally at the Surgery on a locum basis.As we bid farewell, we would like to extend an invitation to patients who want to add their comments and names in a leavers book - this will be held in our reception area.Thank you, Joanne Meadows, Practice Manager
